Hi guys,
Did anyone noticed that 2nd july filers who got their RNs have not got any LUD(s) on their approved I-140 :confused::confused:
Mine is EB2, reached July 2nd at 7.55 AM Fedex received by Robin Williams at NSC and I got the check cashed and has receipt numbers but my I140 LUD is not changed. But my I-140 was already approved and it was not concurrent filling. So if its not concurrent filing then I think I140 LUD should not change or not related to 485 receipt notice? Am I right?

Folks,
I got card production email on 19th night (20th) August... got approval email on 22nd . Received welcome notice physical mail on 25th August-- So far not received Green cards nor Approval notice. As per email received it says -- Approval was mailed on 22nd AUgust. Anybody in same boat ??

I was shocked to read your post and tears rolled on my cheeks. But I admire your determination to achieve your goal. Oh my God! You are a different kind of guy, Please don't lose your hope. I really don't know what kind of cancer and what stage are you at but I believe miralcles do happen. We all will pray for you. We wish you the best. Btw - why are lot of members mentioning FP related information under EAD? I did my FP last Oct. Should I be expecting second FP as a result of EAD renewal application. I am missing some thing basic here. Any pointers?
FP is mainly for E-filing folks, paper filers need not take FP.

as per the attorney, the case history of employers who won using non competes in the court are very rare unless the law suit is agiainst key personnel and court gets convinced by the legitemate business interest. If the employer still chooses to fight, he has got more to loose than me because of non payments of wages also being involved here. since non compete has been used just to escape the wages, courts wil be more hard on the employer and will consider it as threat rather than genuine.

He received a phone call 3-4 months later from INS regarding his complain and was told that INS will investigate into the matter and if complain is valid then the former employer will be punished accordingly. He was told that INS has received many many such complaints and they have huge backlog and it is taking 3-4 months to reach to a complain but they are working on each of them.

All checks cashed June 8th. It was sent to Nebrasks. I hardy just could read the SRC letters in back of my check. Online image in not good. I guess it has gone to Texas sercice center.

TIP: Print them you should be able to read.:) My checks cleared on the same day got the receipts yesterday. So you should be getting them today or tomorrow. I am not sure if attorney can chose whether to send it to you or not.

My friend sent her package on may 18th and she saw on uscis that they dated the receipt as june 1st... so that can give you an idea.
I sent mine on June 1st....nothing yet.
on june 6th the immigration.com breaking new claims there is a backlog of receipt for up to 45 days.
I am expecting to get mine at least by june 30th because with the flood of applications on july first....whoi knows

Dude, what makes you feel better? let me try, my case pd is Mar 18th 2005, RD july 2nd 2007 and ND July 28th 2007.
It is assigned to officer on 28th June, no issues with case, all are in place like name check, background check, finger prints valid till next year, officer touched my case on july 12th and 28th, no RFE sent so far as per IO and don't know why it is still sitting on officers desk. I did everything SR, 2 infopass, senators, congresswomen, Ombudsman, NSC follow up emails, SCOPSSCATTA email, nothing worked so far.
I think you will leave the boat before me, good luck.

I understand the entire system needs an overhaul,but it would be great if IV acheives even one of the above agendas....

From all the options we have at hand immediately, I suggest the following to be the quickest and most effective
Chant the mantra "Man Yo Ho Rehna Kyo"
This should be done as many times as possible for 2 weeks
Avoid chanting from 12:00-3:00
Keep in mind the person who you think is the obstacle on your path while chanting
It worked for someone I know. It worked for me. And now to make it work for all of us we all have to chant. Remember, just 2 weeks!

Most likely the majority of Americans have immigration roots from somewhere, like anybody else. I don't think that would be a compelling argument though. The US allows 1+ million to immigrate here every year.
Rbharol, what really messed up for us is the high influx of illegal aliens. We, the Employment Base greencard applicants represent a small group. We used to be respected few years ago. We are not visible at all, even when we get stuck. It is understandable that the illegal aliens abused the system and we are paying the price for it. I am sorry but that is true. People generalized and we are now in the middle of this mess. It happens that after I posted this, I found the article below which reinforces my sad perception:

Hi - I currently have my H1B(H4 for my wife) valid till Mar 2011 and EAD expires on 10/15/08.
Can I skip the renewal process for now and apply for EAD later?
My lawyer says it is OK to skip for now and apply for EAD/AP anytime as long as I-485 is pending.
Please advise.
