My PD of Dec. 2004, I think it will be late 2010 before I see my date current. I hope we atleast see May 2007 visa bulletin dates in May 2008.

You are turning a blind eye to his family, while also asking him to spend time with his family. You ask him to spend what he can on his treatment, while his insurance cover may go away if he quits his job and return to fiji/india.
There is no easy answer here.
But if he had his GC, he could spend all the time with his family, use his insurance cover at the same time, and not worry about his family going out of status.
He COULD try to expedite the GC, while also exploring other options.

Dear Friend,
Let me first of all thank you for taking a strong stand for your highly skilled employees at this critical time. I am on an H1b visa and am a certified professional working in this country. I just wanted to ask you a few question. The biotech firms employ a lot of people on H1b visas. How come none of them, excluding Genentech, is included in the compete america group's letter to the congress. I strongly feel and pharmaceutical companies, contract research organizations, other biotech companies should also be included to stand for the H1b visa and green card issue for their employees. Seccond question I would like to ask is about the provision to renew the H1b in increment of 3 years each after the 6th year, which apparently has been taken off in this new CIR bill. This is a very technical issue and employers would not want to loose the trained employees after the 6th year period. It does not make any sense to refuse renewability of the H1b after 6 years since by that time that employee has already become an asset to the company or this nation. Please make sure to stand for that particular issue. H1b should be renewable in increments of 3 years each if the GC has been filed by the 5th year. Let me thank you for successfully campaigning for increasing the H1b numbers and hopefully this will enable me to move from my present acadamic position (Ast Prof at XXXXXX) to an Industry. Even if we have five people agree to file this class action lets do it .....

1, Let choose an attorney who understands our pain wants to fight for our cause. if its Rajiv Khanna so be it.
2, Whatever the inital attorney consultion let split the consultation fee between five of us.
3, Once we have a stream lined class action in place will gather more people.

Its better to use rental car, as i did landing on june30, 2008 and the canadian customs asked me to either transfer the car or take it back to USA.

I am a lurker in this site. This is my first post. I have seen many posts by United Nations. He has helped and still trying to help many users at IV. His posts has insight and valuable information. Doubting his intentions just because he is in this society for 35 years is not appropriate.

If Yes, i will really appreciate if you can contribute and help us in any way. This is an organisation run by people like me and you, who have full time jobs and have families also. If we all can take out some time out of our busy lives and try to help IV, then everyone will know about IV.
When we say we need to convince people, which is ridiculous, as i am 100% sure, everybody knows whats going on. We all are suffering and are here fort he long haul. If still people dont want to do anything, then no one can help us.

If the cause is right (we all know it is) then its a matter of delivering this message that will get people convinced. Lot of charities get donations. How? I think that is what we need to learn. Most desis are not even aware about this organization. I bumped into it via google search for my immigration answer. So lets throw some ideas around for better advertisements.

may be by october we will have some visa numbers at that time they may let us file, rice donot mind loosing 2 or 3 billions to AILF because we are alreading loosing 3 to 4 billions in iraq every month and by now she is get used to it.

If you use AP you enter the US as a "parolee". (Is that how you spell it?).
If you use AVR I believe you enter as an H1B. I would prefer to enter as an H1B
since I have not yet used my EAD or AC21.
Just wondering if anyone on the forum has experience at Ottawa international while returning with either AVR or AP. Also, is there a preference if you have both AVR and AP, what to use to enter back into US? Thanks.
