Rupert Murdoch, Mayor Bloomberg Lobby For Immigration Reform, Path To 'Legal Status' For Illegal Immigrants (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/06/24/rupert-murdoch-mayor-bloo_n_623805.html)
Excellent.
Let them lobby.
Agriculture sector and Tech firms, Construction, Latinos have been lobbying for years now but nothing happened.
Immigration will be taken up during the next year. The Top Agenda is energy bill for this year. No Matter who lobbyies nothing gonna matter.
Next year if Reps gain majority in the Senate then It will be tough battle.
Amnesty will not come easy.
If the fight between reps and dems become too intense. No CIR next year either.
Adjobs, dream act, some EB relief, tough border, Fine employers may pass piece meal
which will calm down most of the Immigration lobbyist next year.
If God forbid the market does not pickup next year, jobs, housings, finance .. CIR will be nearly impossible.

I have a couple of questions:
1. In the AP application form, there is a question on when you intend to travel. What should I enter there when I am only applying for some future travel and am not sure about the dates?
2. I had worked on OPT after my graduation before switching to H1 visa. So when I apply for EAD now, should I apply as a renewal applicant or a new applicant? Is OPT the same as EAD?
thanks.

Yes, you can move to H4 and then to H1-B as long as that H1-B is filed within 12 months. Otherwise, your application will be subject to 65K cap limit
H4 can be filed onself, I have seen some of my friends do it. To file AOS once PD is current, it is essential that one be in H1-B status.

Do you have the kids who goes to School? If yes then Either Sugarland Or Katy area are usual choice. You have some apartments in Hwy 6 and 59 area. If you Work in downtown you can use park and ride from any of locations.
If you do not have kids you can get am apartment near your office So that you do not have spend time in traffic.

I don't think constitution allows suing Congress because it has immunity. Based on the their approval ratings you would see thousands of lawsuits everyday if it was allows to sue congress.
RealClearPolitics - Election Other - Congressional Job Approval (http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/other/congressional_job_approval-903.html)
In that case we would have to take a number in line to sue congress because it will be big line. In other words there will be backlog to sue Congress and that backlog would be bigger than the green card backlog. :)
So it seems we cant do much against USCIS on the lawsuit besides making congress to act. why 'Politicians' are not good in any country ???
Btw, even i am EB2 - i support porting as i have seen EB3 people working with me and they are no where less in skills .... i want to file a lawsuit so that we can bring some lazy asses to justice like USCIS.

Hey, if you have a paying customer that is happy and a freeloading web-browsing "advisor" that isn't...
Yeah, but I respect the opinions of the web-browsing advisor more... :)
